INITIATIVE TO CREATE A EUROPEAN NETWORK OF PUBLIC ART PRODUCERS
ENPAP is a network of art organizations that share an affinity for expanding the notion of public art.
The initiative is thought of as a two-year research phase for the network, comprising a comparative study where we learn from each others working methods and values. We look at our institutional frameworks in relation to the contexts in which we operate, and we discuss fundamental issues such as how artworks impact on their audience and society at large. The network will present an exhibition, a publication and a symposium in March 2012.
ENPAP consists today of six partners from five countries in Europe:
Baltic Art Center in Visby/Sweden
consonni in Bilbao/Spain
Mossutställningar in Stockholm/Sweden
Situations in Bristol/U.K.
SKOR | Foundation for Art and Public Domain in Amsterdam/Holland
Vector in Iasi/Romania
ENPAP has been made possible with grants from the European Commission Culture Programme and Romanian Cultural Institute, Bucharest.
