VAD is an initiative developed by Vector Association in the frame of the Center for Regional Artistic Expertise.

VAD is a research and artistic project which is mapping the regional artistic context situated at the SE border of EU (Iasi, Cluj, Timisoara, Bucharest, Chisinau, Novi Sad, Belgrade, Sofia, Istanbul, Kiev, Holon, etc...).

VAD is structured according to the principles:

• Selection and study of those projects which are reflecting different aspects of the socio-political and economic tranzition of the countries from the region, being at the SE border of EU.
• The networking policies of the institutions from the region.
• The comparative study of the regional artistic scenes, icluding too the educational programmes of the art insitutions.
